CRU is seeking a Guest Liaison Officer to help deliver exceptional guest experiences at our Lake Mac campsite. This hands-on role combines hospitality, guest services, site operations, and practical support to ensure every guest enjoys a safe, welcoming, and memorable stay. We are looking for someone who is frequently available to work Friday-to-Sunday, as required, including overnight stays.
About the role
As the primary contact for guests, you'll welcome groups on arrival and support them throughout their stay. You'll help create an environment where schools, churches, and community groups can focus on building relationships, learning, and growing together.
Working closely with campsite staff, group leaders, and activity teams, you'll assist with guest services, site presentation, catering support, logistics, and safety. Every day will bring new opportunities to serve others and contribute to a ministry that helps young people hear about Jesus and grow in their faith.
What you'll be doing
- Welcome, induct and support guests throughout their stay
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guest groups, staff and activity teams
- Assist guests with site facilities, equipment and resources
- Facilitate guest departures, feedback and rebooking’s
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming campsite environment
- Conduct facility inspections and help address safety concerns
- Support meal services and assist with catering-related duties
- Assist with site logistics, setup and pack-down of equipment and resources
- Respond appropriately to site incidents, alarms and emergencies
- Carry out minor maintenance and practical site support tasks
- Participate in staff Bible studies and devotions

- Available to work Friday-to-Sunday, as required, including overnight stays, meal service support and after-hours on-call responsibilities
- Practical, reliable and willing to adopt a hands-on approach
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
- Committed to maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and professionalism
Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, customer service, tourism, campsites or a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
