Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping things in top-notch condition? We're looking for a dedicated Handy Person / Property Assistant to join our team! This is your opportunity to be an integral part of creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. Full time or option for part time is available for the right person.

About the Organisation / Site:

CRU is a Bible-based, interdenominational Christian youth organisation whose mission is to help the students of the independent schools of Australia to know and follow Jesus. We seek to expose students to the gospel, win them to Christ, disciple them in their faith and train them for a lifetime of service.

CRU Galston Gorge is one of Sydney’s leading camp and conference centres located on 15 minutes from Hornsby and 45 minutes boasting accommodation for 220, a multi-purpose gymnasium, meeting rooms, a commercial kitchen providing exceptional catering and a broad range of sport and recreational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Landscaping & Gardening: Maintain our wonderful grounds, ovals, gardens and native bushland in superb condition.
Repairs and Fixes: Tackle a variety of maintenance tasks, from painting and decorating to plumbing and electrical work and basic carpentry. Your skills will be crucial in maintaining our properties in top condition.
Collaboration: Work closely with the property management team to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure a well-maintained and attractive living environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field is a plus.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with basic tools and equipment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
